In groups we work some basic topics about Spanish and Catalan culture to explain to the E-Twinners. First we create some questions, then we gather some information asking to teachers, searching in internet, etc and finally we group all the ideas together and present it.
These are some typical spanish habits.

OUR CULTURE
Our school is called Sagrada Família. It is in Barcelona (Catalonia,
Spain). We are 47 students in our grade. We are in first grade ESO. In primary school we wore uniform, but now we wear the
clothes we want. We speak three languages, Catalan, Spanish and English but in
3rd-4th grade ESO we can learn French or German. We use iPads to
study languages, Maths, Science, Music, and Religion. We have a lot of teachers. Our school is catholic.
Barcelona is a big, beautiful and cosmopolitan city. It has got a lot of tourists. We have lots of monuments like the Agbar tower, the Sagrada Família cathedral, the Güell Park, la Pedrera, the Batlló house, Hotel Vela... We have shopping streets like Passeig de Gràcia, Diagonal, Las Ramblas... And a lot of shopping malls like La Maquinista, L'Illa Diagonal, Las Arenas, Gran Via 2, Diagonal Mar, Maremagnum... Also we can visit many natural places such as Montserrat range, La Mola, Montseny, etc. If you want to have some fun you can go to Tibidabo theme park, the zoo, the Liceu, Palau de la música, Horta's Labyrinth, cinemas, Coliseum theatre, Teatre Nacional de Catalunya (TNC), science museum, wax museum, etc.
The most popular sports are football (Barça), hockey (Polo), basketball (Barça), swimming (Mireia Belmonte), motorbike (Marc Màrquez, Dani Pedrosa), etc.
The typical foods are: Pa amb tomàquet (bread with tomato), Crema catalana (catalan cream), pernil ibèric (Iberian ham), mel i mató, panellets, galets soup, cannelloni...
Famous artists are Gaudí (painter) , Dalí (painter), Tàpies (painter) , Miró (painter), Lluís Llach (singer, composer), Joan Manel Serrat (singer, composer), Mercè Rodoreda (writer), Miquel Martí i Pol (writer), etc.
